Summerland Heritage Cider

A cider company born out of good strong friendships

Close friends and a lot of laughter…

Family run farm and cidery; all products hand-crafted on site with our own home-grown apples; we operate the cider barn on site with patio and lounge including food service; family and dog friendly!

Summerland Heritage Cider has roots that go back through generations of orchardists. Friends and farmers Bob, Ron and Tom wanted less waste from their imperfect apples, so one autumn over 20 years ago they made their first cider. Fast forward to today, where Ron’s son Ted and his wife Lauren now farm the land and continue to carry on tradition while developing the cider company to what it is today.

In the past couple of years, Summerland Cider has moved from a small tasting room to a beautiful barn facility where you can enjoy a selection of varieties on tap. The covered patio overlooks Trout Creek and is surrounded by their orchards. The 20 acre farm has a mix of cider and dessert apple varieties, and in addition to farming and pressing their own crops, Summerland Cider also acts as a community hub for other apple farmers to press their juice.
