Summerland has always been a community shaped by the land.
Our vineyards, orchards, farms, cideries, wineries, breweries and distilleries are more than places to visit — they represent generations of hard work, local families, passionate producers and the agricultural roots that make Summerland such a special place to live and visit.

“There’s something about that town”…
Summerland has a certain je ne sais quoi, it’s hard to pinpoint but there is something magical in the air here. The main highway doesn’t cut through the town – this is our advantage as our town is a tranquil haven of peace and quiet. The people are friendly and paying it forward is something that might even have originated here.
The owners and staff of our wineries, cideries, distilleries and breweries are often known for their senses of humour and the fact that many of them welcome dogs - well that should tell you what you need to know.
