This weekend we’re celebrating international #openthatbottlenight: the concept of Open That Bottle Night (OTBN) was initiated by two reporters at The Wall Street Journal. Dorothy J. Gaiter and John Brecher wanted to encourage their readers to open a significant bottle, then to share their stories. Since its inauguration in 2000, the event has become a global phenomenon, and is always held annually on the last Saturday in February.
We’re lucky on Bottleneck Drive that we not only have wineries, but three cideries and one distillery making it easy to choose a bottle to sip, savour Summerland. Visit our member pages to explore more.
While we hope to see you in person at one of our tasting rooms soon, we are working on a new way to bring #bottleneckdrive directly to you. Please stay tuned, and sign up for our e-newsletter to be among the first to know how and when you can experience the bottles of Bottleneck conveniently at home! Subscribe now.
Did you miss OTBN? Why not make another evening a special night? Open a bottle you’ve been saving for a while, have a friend Zoom in to taste one vintage while you taste another to compare notes, create a new cocktail, or pair cider with dinner. Open that bottle and enjoy!
